Description

Sweet-and-salty chocolate covered pretzel rods dipped in melted chocolate and decorated with sprinkles, nuts, or crushed candy. Perfect for parties, dessert platters, or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 pretzel rods
  • 12 oz semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate chips (or melting wafers)
  • Sprinkles, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or crushed candy for decorating

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Hold each pretzel rod and dip it about two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
  4. Sprinkle with your favorite toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
  5. Place the dipped pretzel rods on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately or wrap individually for gifting.

Notes

  • Use colored candy melts for holiday or themed colors.
  • Drizzle with a contrasting chocolate for a decorative finish.
  • Roll in crushed peppermint candy for a festive holiday twist.
  • Try crushed cookies or toffee bits for extra crunch.
