Description

A moist and sweet banana bread packed with chocolate chips—perfect for breakfast, dessert, or snacking.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth.
  3. Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
