Description

A moist and flavorful banana bread packed with melty chocolate chips—perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter until combined.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir in the flour until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
