- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter until combined.
- Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir in the flour until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture.
- Mix in chopped nuts for added crunch.
