A comforting and hearty Chicken Parmesan Pasta Casserole combining crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and melted cheese all baked together with pasta.

- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and marinara sauce. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Try adding a layer of sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated before baking.
