A dreamy, creamy white chocolate fudge infused with maraschino cherries and a hint of pink color, perfect for festive occasions or a sweet indulgence.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow crème
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3–4 drops red or pink food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent burning.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the white chocolate chips and marshmallow crème until melted and smooth.
- Add the chopped maraschino cherries, vanilla extract, and a few drops of food coloring to achieve a soft pink hue.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Let the fudge cool at room temperature until set, or refrigerate for faster results.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Use dried cherries instead of maraschino for a chewy texture and deeper flavor.
- Add chopped nuts like pecans or almonds for crunch.
- Swirl in dark chocolate for a marbled look and richer taste.
- Substitute strawberry or raspberry extract for a different berry twist.
