Description

Cheeseburger Bomb Bites are a delicious and fun party appetizer, filled with savory ground beef, melted cheese, and wrapped in flaky biscuit dough. Perfect for gatherings or game day!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a 3-4 inch round.
  5. Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each round, then top with shredded cheese.
  6. Fold dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with ketchup or dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
  • Add pickles or bacon bits inside for extra flavor.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven before serving.
