Description

Rich and fudgy brownies loaded with chocolate chips and swirled with gooey caramel for the ultimate indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until smooth and creamy.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter, then top with the remaining batter and drizzle the rest of the caramel on top. Swirl lightly with a knife.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool completely before slicing and serving. Drizzle with additional caramel if desired.

Notes

  • Use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce.
  • Do not overbake to keep the brownies fudgy.
  • Chill before cutting for cleaner slices.
