1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix

3 ripe bananas, mashed

2 large eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.

Add eggs and oil to the bananas, and stir until combined.

Add the cake mix and cinnamon (if using), and mix until everything is fully incorporated.

Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
