Ingredients
For the Garlic Herb Potatoes:
-
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp dried parsley
-
1/2 tsp dried thyme
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Butter Steak Bites:
-
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
-
2 tbsp olive oil (for searing)
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter
-
4 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
-
Cook the potatoes:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add halved potatoes cut-side down. Season with garlic powder, dried parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fork-tender. Remove from skillet and set aside. -
Sear the steak:
Season steak bites with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Do this in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan. -
Add the garlic butter:
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Let the garlic cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Return the steak and potatoes to the pan and toss everything together until coated in the garlic butter. -
Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
-
You can use any cut of steak, but sirloin or ribeye works best for tenderness.
-
Don’t overcrowd the pan when searing steak or the meat won’t brown properly.
-
Add red chili flakes for a spicy kick if you’d like.
