Description

Bunny Bait is a colorful and crunchy snack mix made with popcorn, pretzels, cereal, candy, and melted white chocolate. It’s the perfect sweet-and-salty treat for Easter parties, spring celebrations, or a fun movie night at home

Ingredients

  • 6 cups popped popcorn (plain or lightly salted)

  • 2 cups pretzel twists

  • 2 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal

  • 1 1/2 cups pastel-colored M&M’s

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips or white candy melts

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for melting chocolate)

  • Easter or spring-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the popcorn, pretzels, cereal, M&M’s, and mini marshmallows.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

  4. Pour the melted white chocolate over the popcorn mixture. Gently stir to coat everything evenly.

  5. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

  6. Immediately top with sprinkles, if using.

  7. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

  8. Once set, break into chunks and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You can swap in other cereals, candies, or use dark or milk chocolate if you prefer.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • Great for gifting in treat bags or jars!
