  • Yield: 20 brownie truffles 1x

Description

Rich, fudgy brownie truffles made from crumbled brownies, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in fun toppings. An easy, decadent treat for parties, dessert trays, or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups baked brownies (homemade or store-bought)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, melted (for coating)
  • Sprinkles, cocoa powder, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Bake brownies according to your favorite recipe or use store-bought brownies. Let them cool completely.
  2. Crumble the brownies into a large mixing bowl, discarding any hard edges if desired.
  3. Add softened cream cheese if using and mix until the mixture holds together and is fudgy.
  4. Scoop small portions of the brownie mixture and roll into bite-sized balls with your hands.
  5. Place the truffle balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  7. Dip each chilled brownie ball into the melted chocolate, coating fully, then place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Sprinkle with toppings like sprinkles, nuts, or coconut while the chocolate is still wet.
  9. Refrigerate until the chocolate coating is set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use flavored brownies like peanut butter swirl or espresso for extra depth.
  • Dip in white chocolate or drizzle with caramel for a gourmet twist.
  • Roll in crushed cookies instead of sprinkles for added crunch.
  • Add a splash of liqueur to the mixture for a grown-up version.
