Description

These Brownie Protein Bites are a delicious and nutritious snack or dessert option. Packed with protein and natural sweetness from dates, these no-bake treats are easy to make and perfect for a quick energy boost.


Ingredients

Dates:

1 cup pitted Medjool dates;

Almond Butter:

1/2 cup almond butter;

Cocoa Powder:

1/4 cup cocoa powder;

Chocolate Protein Powder:

1/2 cup chocolate protein powder;

Vanilla Extract:

1 teaspoon vanilla extract;

Salt:

pinch of salt;

Water:

2–3 tablespoons water, as needed;

Mini Chocolate Chips:

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional).


Instructions

  1. Prepare Date Mixture: In a food processor, blend the dates until finely chopped and sticky.
  2. Add Ingredients: Add almond butter, cocoa powder, protein powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Process until the mixture forms a crumbly dough.
  3. Adjust Consistency: Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the mixture holds together when pressed. If desired, pulse in the mini chocolate chips.
  4. Shape and Chill: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Storage: Store the Brownie Protein Bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
