Description

A hearty and delicious breakfast sandwich made with eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat on a toasted English muffin or bagel.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 English muffin or bagel, split and toasted
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon or 1 sausage patty
  • 1 tbsp butter or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add butter or cooking spray.
  2. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your desired doneness.
  3. While eggs cook, toast the English muffin or bagel until golden brown.
  4. Place the cheese slice on top of one egg while still warm to melt slightly.
  5. Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked meat on the bottom half of the muffin or bagel, followed by the egg and cheese, then the top half.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.
