- 1 English muffin or bagel, split and toasted
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of cooked bacon or 1 sausage patty
- 1 tbsp butter or cooking spray
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add butter or cooking spray.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your desired doneness.
- While eggs cook, toast the English muffin or bagel until golden brown.
- Place the cheese slice on top of one egg while still warm to melt slightly.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked meat on the bottom half of the muffin or bagel, followed by the egg and cheese, then the top half.
- Serve immediately while warm.
