A refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert, this Lemon Tiramisu combines zesty lemon curd, creamy mascarpone, and soft ladyfingers soaked in limoncello syrup for a light and tangy treat.

- 1 cup lemon curd
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup limoncello (or lemon juice for non-alcoholic version)
- 1/2 cup water
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1 tbsp lemon zest (plus more for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon curd until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
- In a shallow dish, combine the limoncello and water. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the mixture.
- Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish.
- Spread half of the lemon mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth the top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with lemon zest and mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute limoncello with lemon juice for an alcohol-free version.
- Ensure ladyfingers are dipped quickly to avoid becoming too soggy.
- Letting the tiramisu chill overnight enhances the flavor and texture.
