A delicious homemade copycat of Taco Bell’s Grilled Cheese Burrito, packed with seasoned beef, rice, cheese, and chipotle sauce, wrapped in a tortilla and grilled to perfection.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup fiesta blend shredded cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Spread a layer of rice on each tortilla, followed by seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese and fiesta blend cheese over the fillings.
- Roll the tortillas into burritos by folding the sides and rolling tightly.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Place each burrito seam side down in the skillet. Top with extra shredded cheese and press lightly.
- Cook each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and the cheese on top is melted and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can use any type of cheese blend you prefer.
- Add jalapeños for an extra spicy kick.
- Try using brown rice for a healthier option.
