Description

A rich, creamy quiche made with eggs, cheese, and your favorite mix-ins, baked in a pre-made crust. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or a blend)
  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional add-ins: cooked bacon, ham, sautéed onions, spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and heavy cream until smooth.
  3. Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the crust base.
  5. Add any mix-ins such as cooked bacon, vegetables, or ham on top of the cheese.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings in the crust.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Blind bake the crust for 10 minutes if it’s not labeled ‘ready to bake’ to prevent sogginess.
  • Sauté vegetables beforehand to avoid excess moisture.
  • Make-ahead friendly: store in the fridge overnight and reheat before serving.
