Description

These BBQ chicken wings are tender, juicy, and coated in a smoky, sweet barbecue sauce — perfect for game days, parties, or backyard gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top if available.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Toss the wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack or baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings with BBQ sauce and return to the oven.
  7. Optional: For a stickier glaze, broil the wings on high for 2-3 minutes after saucing.
  8. Remove from oven, brush with additional BBQ sauce or drizzle honey if desired, and serve hot.
