These Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are juicy grilled chicken pieces coated in a spicy, creamy, and slightly sweet sauce. Perfect for parties, barbecues, or a flavorful weeknight dinner.

- 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Wooden or metal skewers
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes if using.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- Reserve half of the sauce for serving and use the rest for marinating.
- Toss chicken cubes in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Brush with reserved sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from grill, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the level of sriracha for more or less spice.
- Use chicken thighs for juicier meat if preferred.
- Can also be baked in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
