Description

These Baked Cauliflower Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Coated in a seasoned breadcrumb mixture and oven-roasted to golden perfection, they’re perfect as a snack, appetizer, or veggie-packed side. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce for a healthy, crowd-pleasing bite!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (regular or panko)

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Set up the coating stations:
In a small bowl, beat the eggs with water.
In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Coat the cauliflower:
Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg mixture, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat well.

  • Arrange and bake:
Place coated cauliflower pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp on the outside and tender inside.

  • Serve hot with ranch, marinara, buffalo sauce, or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free breadcrumbs.

  • Spice it up with cayenne or chili powder for heat.

  • Try tossing the baked bites in buffalo or BBQ sauce for extra flavor.
