Ingredients

1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini

6 slices bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Discard all but 1 tablespoon of bacon grease. Add the butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
