Description

This creamy Bacon Tortellini Alfredo is a quick and comforting dinner packed with rich flavors. Cheesy tortellini is tossed in a homemade Alfredo sauce, then topped with crispy bacon for the perfect bite. It’s a family favorite that’s ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  3. Discard all but 1 tablespoon of bacon grease. Add the butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

  6. Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.

  7. Stir in the crispy bacon or sprinkle on top before serving.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use frozen tortellini—just cook it according to the package instructions.

  • Add cooked chicken or sautéed mushrooms for extra protein and flavor.

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
