Description

Authentic Pico de Gallo is a fresh, chunky Mexican salsa made with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. It’s perfect as a topping or dip.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 12 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  2. Add the lime juice and salt to the mixture.
  3. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Let sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
