- 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
- 1–2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
- Add the lime juice and salt to the mixture.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Let sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- For a milder version, use only one jalapeño or remove all seeds.
- Letting it sit longer enhances the flavor.
- Great as a topping for tacos, grilled meats, or as a dip with chips.
