Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Lime wedges and chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Marinate the salmon: Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to fold into a packet. Spoon the marinade evenly over each fillet and fold the foil to seal tightly.
