Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.

- Add canned tomatoes, breaking them up with a spoon or your hands.
- Season with salt and bring to a simmer.

- Taste and adjust seasoning or spice level as needed.
- Stir in chopped parsley or basil just before serving, if desired.
