Description
These Apple Pie Bombs are little bites of heaven—flaky, golden biscuit dough stuffed with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples and coated in a buttery cinnamon-sugar crust. They’re quick to make, super satisfying, and perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.
Ingredients
-
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
-
1 cup apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
Optional: caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
-
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
-
Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each one into a 4-inch circle.
-
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling into the center of each circle.
-
Carefully pull the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal completely.
-
Place the sealed side down on the baking sheet.
-
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
-
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
-
Make sure the filling is chopped small so it fits easily inside the dough.
-
These are best served warm but can be reheated in the microwave for 10–15 seconds.
-
You can also use homemade apple filling if you prefer.
