- 4 cups mixed fresh or frozen fruit (e.g., apples, berries, peaches)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the fruit, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix well and pour into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the fruit.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- You can use any combination of fruits like apples, blueberries, strawberries, or peaches.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the fruit.
- This dessert can be made ahead and reheated.
