Description

A quick, healthy, and delicious way to prepare mahi mahi using an air fryer. This recipe yields tender, flavorful fish with minimal effort and oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 mahi mahi fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and onion powder.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the fillets.
  6. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately with lemon slices on the side.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  • Add a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
