This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese is crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and super easy to make! It’s a fast, no-fuss way to enjoy a classic comfort food favorite using your air fryer. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack.
Ingredients

4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your favorite)

2 tablespoons butter, softened

2 slices cheddar cheese

2 slices mozzarella or American cheese (optional for extra melty goodness)
Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.

Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

Place one slice of cheddar and one slice of mozzarella (if using) between two slices of bread, buttered sides facing out.

Repeat to make the second sandwich.

Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

Air fry for 4–5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Let cool for a minute, slice, and serve warm.

You can swap the cheese for your favorite variety—provolone, Swiss, or pepper jack all work great.

Don’t overload the air fryer—cook in batches if needed so the sandwiches get evenly crispy.
