Description

A quick and healthy way to enjoy juicy, crispy chicken breasts using an air fryer with minimal oil. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness using a meat mallet.
  3. Rub both sides of chicken breasts with olive oil.
  4. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat well.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Place coated chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 7–10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked perfectly.
  • Try adding herbs like thyme or oregano to the breadcrumb mix for added flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
