Description

Delicious and healthy air fryer carrots that are perfectly roasted with a slight crisp and natural sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss carrot sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and honey/maple syrup if using.
  3. Place the carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  5. Check for tenderness and caramelization. Add extra time if needed.
  6. Transfer to a plate, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.

  • Use baby carrots for convenience, adjusting cook time slightly.
