- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and water until frothy.
- Add the pecans to the bowl and stir until fully coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray if desired.
- Place the coated pecans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
- Remove and let cool completely; the pecans will crisp up as they cool.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- Adjust spices to taste – you can add a pinch of cayenne for heat.
