Description

Juicy ground beef tacos smothered in a rich garlic butter and sweet honey BBQ sauce, served in warm tortillas and topped with fresh veggies for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Optional: sliced avocado, lime wedges, jalapeño slices

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in honey BBQ sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble the tacos by filling tortillas with beef mixture and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and any desired extras.
  6. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
