- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Optional: sliced avocado, lime wedges, jalapeño slices
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
- Stir in honey BBQ sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by filling tortillas with beef mixture and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and any desired extras.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
- Adjust the amount of honey BBQ sauce for more or less sweetness.
