Description

These 3 Ingredient Mounds Bars are a quick and easy homemade version of the classic candy bar. Made with sweetened shredded coconut, condensed milk, and rich chocolate, they’re chewy, chocolatey, and perfect for a no-fuss dessert or treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

 

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.

  • Scoop the mixture into small bar shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press them firmly so they hold together.

  • Freeze the bars for about 20–30 minutes until firm.

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

  • Dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate, coating all sides, then place back on the baking sheet.

 

  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.


Notes

  • You can use dark chocolate if you prefer a richer flavor.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

  • For a more authentic Mounds flavor, use unsweetened coconut and add a bit of vanilla extract.
